Peace Poster

The Forbes & District Lions Club has hosted a Peace Poster Competition in Forbes since the clubs inception in 2007.

2008-2009 This years theme was "Peace Begins with Me". 

Entries were received from Forbes North Primary School with Erin Moon being declared the Winner. Erin's entry also won the District 201N4 final

2009-2010
The Theme was "the Power of Peace"
Entries were once again received from Forbes North Public School

 

 2009 Winner

2010-2011
This years theme was "Vision of Peace"
97 Entries were received from Forbes North Primary, Forbes Primary, St Laurences Primary and Eugowra Primary.

This years winner was Jarod Kelly from St Laurences. His entry went on to win the District Final

 2010 Winner

2011-2012
This years theme is "Children Know Peace" We have 87 entries from Forbes North Public School and St Laurences Primary.

Winner was the entry from Milly Somes from St Lawrences whose entry went onto win at District Level and progressed to the Multiple District Final.

2012-2013

This years theme was "Imagine Peace".

This years winner was Harriet Reilly from St Laurences Primary.

2013 - 2014

The theme is Our World, Our Future.

This years winner was Krystle-lee McMurray from St Laurences Primary

BOOT SALE DATES 2021

The Dates set for our 2021 Boot Sales are:

Anyone is welcome to come along and set up a stall, table or tent

Bunnings BBQ's

The Forbes & District Lions Club are hoping to recommence Bunnings BBQs in 2021.

Dates for our BBQ's have been under review due to the Corona virus risk.
